The second edition of Tehran Game Convention (TGC) as the biggest B2B event among the 33 countries in the Gamestan territory will be held on 5th and 6th of July 2018.
TGC will be co-organized by Iran computer and video games foundation and Game connection. Having more than 80 conference sessions, a large B2B expo area with the presence of key players of the MENA region and international game development companies as well as the Gamestan Award will be a very good opportunity for the active members of the game development community to boost their knowledge, share their experience and extend their businesses.
The talented developers of 33 countries located in Gamestan are immensely capable to have an influential presence in international markets. The unique themes and stories of such games beside their creativity and energy has resulted in the creation of a wide range of very unique and very attractive video games.
Gamestan awards will be an effort to bring these talents to spotlight before the eyes of world-renowned developers.
I am interested in contents created in the middle-eastern countries especially Iran to publish in the Japanese market. I think TGC will provide a very good opportunity for doing so
Since Iran has the largest Internet user and gamers pool among the countries in MENA region, I think it’s not too problematic to say that the biggest chances lie in Iran.
Iran has everything it takes to grow a healthy game industry: Creative talents, resourceful entrepreneurs, a rich culture to draw inspiration from and government support. That's why I see Iran becoming a major regional actor in game development. I am proud to have been a pioneer in discovering Iran's potential during my historic trip in 2015.
